Are Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber finally coming together?

If you have been on the internet in the past month, you probably know all about the drama going on between Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber (whether you wanted to or not). The women themselves have not been going at it, but rather their fans. You know the narrative: a famous young pop star has a relationship in the spotlight, they break up, and fans will never be happy with their new partners. At least that is how it seems with Justin Bieber fans.

While there have been some posts deemed ‘shady’ by Hailey Bieber and friends, as well as some interesting comments on TikTok from Selena Gomez, everybody involved is over the drama. Fans were shocked to see this post from Selena Gomez on her Instagram story:

It is also important to note that the two celebrities have followed each other on Instagram, seemingly squashing the drama. Fans on social media have mixed opinions on this resolution. Some happy to see two women not standing for media pinning them against one another, others are angry that Selena would defend somebody who they speculate was not nice to her at times.

So far, Justin Bieber has not addressed the situation at all. Social media users are confused on this, as many believe that if he had spoken up to defend his wife, this could have ended long ago. While we can’t be sure if that would have helped at all, it is a bit odd that he has remained so quiet.

While it is unclear if the online fued with fans has truly ended, we can only hope that publicly adressing this will stop the hate that both women have been dealing with online lately.
