Kanye is back with ‘Ye24’ presidential campaign

Kayne West is running for president. Again. Perhaps the most bizarre part of this news is the way it was announced. Most would have expected a huge public announcement that nobody would be able to miss, especially since Kayne confirmed that he is back on Twitter.

Instead, the announcement is very casual and happens in passing. It seems to have been recorded by a member of the paparazzi that Kanye randomly welcomed inside of his office, giving him a tour of the facility.

This news comes from a video of Kanye showing off clothing from Yeezy, Balenciaga, and YZY GAP that he plans on selling at an extremely discounted price. He shows the cameraman a pair of sweatpants that say “Ye24” on them, answering yes when asked if that means he is running.

Later in the video, Kanye shows off more racks of clothing, explaining that “I just bought every piece of Balenciaga that I’ve ever seen and started writing Ye24 on everything”. He goes on to announce that he will be selling every piece for $20 in order to “make sure that the people get the best thing available”.

That’s not the end of it. It is also confirmed that Kanye is working on his campaign with alt-right commentator, Milo Yiannopoulos. That name may sound familiar, as he was hired as an unpaid intern for Marjorie Taylor Greene. Yiannopoulos is no stranger to controversy, so working with Kayne is not entirely shocking.

Kanye’s 2020 attempt was not successful, as his name only appeared on the ballot in 12 states and he received an estimated amount of 60,000 votes. It has been reported that he spent over $6.7 billion on the past campaign. After losing the election in 2020, he was quick to talk about the possibility of running, but it has not been confirmed until now.
