It was a fashion show with fashion! After 14 years of hearing about She by Shereè , original castmate Shereè Whitfield of The Real Housewives of Atlanta finally seen her runway dream come true and, in that way, it was a perfect and memorable season finale of the Bravo hit reality series.
With her girls on the sideline cheering and familiar faces like Phaedra Parks’ ex-husband Apollo Nida sporting the fashion on the runway, the 52-year-old Whitfield saw her dream finally play out and so did viewers who have followed Shereè on her long journey filled with ups and downs.
While Whitfield has been on and off the cast of RHOA through the seasons, one thing we know about the fashionista is that she doesn’t give up and this season has challenged The Real Housewives of Atlanta OG. That glimmered through in many episodes, including Whitfield’s battle with love in her controversial relationship with ex-boyfriend Tyrone Gilliams, who played with strings of Shereè’s heart and continued to do so with a surprise appearance at the She by Shereè fashion show.
Real Housewives of Atlanta OG Shereè Whitfield has dealt with it all on the Bravo TV hit reality series
In watching her deal with heartbreak and picking herself up again, the success of the fashion show was symbolism at its best for Whitfield who not only fought to pick the pieces of her heart back up, but also made sure her dream came true this time around.
Prior to the show kicking off, the RHOA OG had a few bumps in the road as only five of her 24 pieces arrived when she expected. With 19 of those pieces not arriving 24 hours prior to the show it was looking like it was going to be a fashion show with limited fashion.
"“It’s not looking good right now,” Whitfield said. “At this point I’m doing all that I can, the clothes are out of my hands.”"
Fortunately, all the clothes showed up and She by Shereè made its long-waited debut in the perfect venue with the perfect music with Nida and all the models really pulling it off. At the end of the show, Whitfield strutted down the aisle slaying one of her jumpers and absolutely glowing to the delight of her casemates who cheered the loudest.
"“She pushed through, she pulled through and got it done,” Kandi Burruss said during the finale. “I’m very proud of her.”"
Burruss, who has personally witnessed the journey of Whitfield’s fashion dream, has also had her battles with Sheree during season 14 as did Drew Sidora, who also cheered loudly for her co-star. But, cheering the loudest must be fans of The Real Housewives of Atlanta who got to see Shereè Whitfield finally pull it off.

Whether her joggers and jumpsuits are authentic or not is another story, but through the trials and tribulations of love and through the failure of her first fashion show attempt 14 years ago, there has to be inspiration in someone viewers have watched trip over and over again, pick herself back up in style.
"“After 14 years I did it,” Whitfield told the Bravo cameras. “I’ve had a lot of ups and downs. I’ve had a lot of letdowns. I want everyone who feels like they can’t do it to keep pushing with prayer, determination, hard work. It will definitely pay off.”"
By turning her back on Gilliams and pouring her heart all into She by Shereè, the RHOA diva did her thing this season. Whether you love her or can’t stand her, Shereè Whitfield stole the show by showing off her strength in every way.
