No one wants to mess with The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Shereè Whitfield.

Over the years, fans have seen Whitfield hold her own when it comes to standing up to her cast mates and even a few dudes who tried to “check her.”  But, when it comes to her heart, do fans really know the vulnerability within Shereè?

When it comes to reality TV, the drama is what reels in viewers, but often it is those vulnerabilities that makes these faces we see on our screens relatable.  In the latest episode of RHOA, Whitfield’s relationship with ex-prisoner Tyrone Gilliam was given the main stage and viewers and fans of the long-time RHOA star got to see the difficulties of a long-distance relationship.

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Shereè Whitfield stood up by her boo

In this episode, Whitfield was all smiles when she told the ladies Gilliam would be joining them in New York City as the ladies and their husbands went to attend Kandi Burrus’s Broadway show.  When that didn’t happen due to his house arrest status, Whitfield planned to meet her boo in Philadelphia.

But, when she tried to text or call Tyrone, he didn’t respond leaving Whitfield sitting alone is a restaurant with her heart shattered.  And for the first time since the show saw her deal with ex-husband Bob Whitfield, Shereè showed some of that vulnerability as she called RHOA co-star Kenya Moore to vent.

While viewers of the show know Whitfield could do better than Tyrone, it appears that the remainder of Season 14 will focus on how Shereè deals with this heartbreak and better yet, how she will better herself.

Marlo Hampton, who has gone head-to-head with Shereè on the Bravo reality series, doesn’t want to see her friend hurting or hurt as she voiced her opinion on Mr. Gilliam in an interview with Page six.

"“I definitely don’t want her [with him].  She can do better,” Hampton said.  “He’s a jerk!.  Like, who does that?  I was so p****.  I was done after that.  When he stood her up, I’m like, ‘Oh no, forget him.  Don’t forget who the hell you are.”"

It’s that last part that fans of Shereè want her to focus on.  Through the years, The Real Housewives of Atlanta OG has succeeded and mostly failed at her business ventures, but she has always been strong in bouncing back.

That’s a quality in Shereè that makes this latest storyline triggering.  Can she bounce back when it comes to love?  Is there any bouncing back when it comes to being stood up with the cameras rolling?

Well, it obviously starts with Shereè Whitfield.

"“Shereè needs….a confident and strong man,” Hampton said of her castmate and friend moving on.  “And one who has a good sense of humor because she has her guards up as well, because she’s a tough woman.  She definitely has to have a strong guy that can still turn into a teddy bear to show her a softer side.”"

Until then, it looks like RHOA viewers will see a lot of Shereè ‘s softer side as she tries to battle through having her heart dissed by Gilliams.  Considering the reason he was in prison, it sounds like Shereè Whitfield is better off moving on and stop calling Tyrone…but the question is will she?
