Britney Spears seemingly announces she’s pregnant on Instagram: Read her post!

Britney Spears continues to wow her fans on Instagram with her selfies and videos, and this time her latest post is gaining attention for a totally different reason. According to a cryptic caption, the 40-year-old singer might just be expecting a child with fiancé Sam Asghari!

If you scrolled past Britney’s post you might not have caught the potentially big news, as the photo shows a cup of tea and some pretty flowers on a table, taken by photographer Andrea McClain. But in typical Britney fashion, her caption is very long and seemingly very important. The star talks about how she gained weight since her recent vacation to Maui, and decided to take a pregnancy test.

“So I got a pregnancy test … and uhhhhh well … I am having a baby [baby emoji],” Britney writes.

Is Britney Spears pregnant?

Britney recalls her fiancé suggesting it might be a food baby until she took the test. She goes on to remember her previous pregnancies where she was criticized in the media. Her fans will remember she was constantly picked apart by the public during that time which significantly affected her mental health in a negative way.

Of course, her fans are just as confused as we are as many of them congratulated Britney and Sam, while others asked if her post meant she’s having a baby. It certainly seems like a pregnancy announcement!

Until Britney posts again to officially confirm either way, we’re under the impression she’s expecting. The actress is a mom to two sons who she shares with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, 16-year-old Sean Preston Federline and 15-year-old Jayden Federline. For Sam’s part, this would be his first child.

If it turns out the Crossroads star is in fact pregnant, her fans would be so happy. She’s been talking about wanting more kids on social media, and when she appeared in court to fight to end her conservatorship in June 2021, she revealed some of the unfair treatment she faced while in the conservatorship, including not being able to get married or have kids.

“I want to have the real deal. I want to be able to get married and have a baby,” Britney said in court.

Britney and Sam announced their engagement this past September, which was amazing to see. And in March, she sent fans into a frenzy when she told her Instagram followers that she was “Planning on having babies in Polynesia” where she was vacationing at the time.
