Euphoria fans’ withdrawals aren’t getting any better with time as each new week reminds them the HBO Max original series isn’t returning until much later. But, perhaps hearing the exciting news that Squid Game‘s HoYeon Jung may be a part of the season 3 cast may be the great news they’ve been waiting to hear all year.
Yes, you read that right! The Korean actress could act alongside Zendaya and Alexa Demie in the upcoming season slated to arrive in either late 2023 or early 2024. Of course, the same could go for any celebrity as many other famous individuals have also expressed their desire to have a role in the hit show. Cassie Steele and Spider-Man: No Way Home star Tom Holland, to name a few. However, for Jung, the chances of her appearing in the show are becoming more and more likely.
Everything to know here.
Is HoYeon Jung going to be in Euphoria season 3?
Though the actress’ appearance in the third season has yet to be confirmed (or denied), according to Teen Vogue, HoYeon Jung will definitely not be opposed to being in the show. In fact, her desire to be in the series is so great, she took the time to visit the Euphoria set to not just feel it out but also imagine possibly working there, too.
“Once, I visited the set of Euphoria and it was so nice to see because it’s been a while after Squid Game,” Jung stated. “It was weird because I felt so comfortable to be just sitting I am not a team on Euphoria but I safe and comfortable.”
Watch Jung talk about Euphoria below, where she says she’d “love” to be part of the show.
Jung also mentioned she actually got to meet Zendaya while visiting. Meeting the cast could be a sign that exciting things are on the way! (Fingers crossed!)
It goes without saying we’ll have to wait until the season 3 premiere of Euphoria to know if we’ll see HoYeon Jung. However, with the way things are looking now, it doesn’t seem to be a matter of if but when.
