Reba Hart – Reba

There is nothing more soothing than a Southern accent and quick wit, and Texas mama Reba Hart has both in spades. Raising her three children, and her oldest daughter’s daughter as well, she is reinventing herself totally.

Reba’s husband, Brock, unexpectedly leaves her for his dental assistant, with which he’s been having an affair. All at once, Reba’s life was turned upside down, and she went from being a traditional Southern wife and mother to a single mom, trying to keep her life, and the lives of her children, together. Add in a teenage pregnancy, an overbearing new addition to the family in the form of the mistress, and starting a new career, she’s got a lot going on.

The best thing about Reba, however, is that she always keeps her head up. Through it all, she’s upbeat, positive, and inspiring and she is the rock for everyone in her life. Even her ex and his new wife depend on her to keep them going, and she handles this very unconventional situation with grace and humor. In fact, she handles it with far more understanding than most of us could muster.

This doesn’t mean she doesn’t take the opportunity to send a few jabs Brock and the new wife’s way. She is no milk toast, and she won’t be treated as an afterthought or with any pity or ill feelings. She’s always going to come out on top, and that’s why you have to love her. She won’t be held back.
