What is Meghan Markle’s favorite dish and can you recreate it at home?
What is Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex’s favorite dish? Well, the answer might surprise you!
Before joining the Royal Family in 2018, Meghan Markle often shared with her followers and fans what her day to day diet would consist of, often sharing on her personal lifestyle blog “The Tig” images, recipes and reviews of delicious dishes and favorites wines. But since becoming the Duchess of Sussex and being linked at the hip with Prince Harry, Meghan has had to be a bit more private and has refrained from posting too many personal posts, instead mainly focusing on putting out information about projects she and Harry are working on.
Meghan Markle’s favorite dish
Although we know from former interviews that Meghan Markle follows a “mostly Vegan diet” throughout the week, the once upon a time self-proclaimed foodie revealed to Best Health magazine that her favorite dish especially on a Sunday – which is when Meghan Markle ditches her usual diet as she doesn’t “ever want to feel deprived” – is “Filipino-style chicken adobo”.
“I enjoy making slow-cooked food on Sundays, like Filipino-style chicken adobo. It’s so easy—combine garlic, soy (or Bragg Liquid Aminos), vinegar, maybe some lemon and let the chicken swim in that sauce until it falls off the bone in a Crock-Pot,” she told the publication.
Now that you know what Meghan Markle’s favorite dish is, the question is, can you recreate it?
