Kate Upton celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with topless leafy photo

As with most holidays we celebrate around the year, there’s an obvious color people wear when St. Patrick’s Day comes along. This past Thursday, March 17 marked the death date of Saint Patrick, meaning many ate delicious Irish soda bread and downed Irish beers like Guinness, Magners Irish Cider, and O’Hara’s Irish Stout. Of course, anyone partaking in the festivities wore green to mark the big day.

As you scrolled on your Instagram feed this week, you likely saw a ton of green — whether it be celebrities wearing the color or friends of yours. Supermodel Kate Upton was no exception, though she got a little creative in her outfit. Instead of throwing on a green t-shirt or hoodie, the 29-year-old celeb simply posed topless with a green leaf over her chest, wearing only blue underwear.

Kate cheekily captioned her post: “This counts as wearing green right? [wink face emoji, four-leaf clover emoji].” And in case her fans couldn’t tell it was a throwback photo, she added a #TBT. Sure, this counts as green if you want it to, Kate!

If you follow Kate Upton on Instagram, you know that nowadays she spends most of her time with her husband, MLB star Justin Verlander, and their daughter, Genevieve. The cute family takes luxurious vacations and loves spending time by the beach.

As for Kate’s career, she’s kept busy promoting her wellness brand Found Active, which she launched in 2021. It’s been a while since we’ve seen her on billboards or in the magazines, but we love to watch her fabulous life on Instagram. She seems so happy with her family! And of course, we’ll take all the fun throwbacks we can get.
