Aly Raisman and McKayla Maroney prove they’re still besties with new Instagram post

Aly Raisman‘s Instagram is full of pictures where she’s embracing her natural beauty. Fortunately for us, the Olympic gymnast recently dropped a new set of selfies!

Her latest up-close selfies are lively and do a great job at capturing the free spirit that is this celebrity. Her gorgeous brown locks certainly steal the show as well as it falls ever-so-perfectly on Aly’s shoulders, however, our favorite part about these pictures has to be her grey hoodie, especially because it looks super cozy.

A simple “Hi” was Aly’s choice of a caption this time around. Safe to say, this was her way of letting her two million followers know that she’s still here and she still loves them.

“Hi, [Aly] you are amazing!” one comment greeted back while another skipped the pleasantries and went straight to complimenting the celebrity, stating, “Stop it. Stop being so adorable. I’m trying to focus over here.”

Her fans can go on forever praising her beauty, especially her biggest fan, McKayla Maroney, who left the comment “Hey pretty” under Aly’s photo.

McKayla’s comment, while adorable, prompted us to wonder whether or not these celebrities are still as close as they were years ago when they competed in the same sport. And by the looks of it, we’re not the only ones asking this major question.

Based on her recent comment, we now know that McKayla Maroney and Aly Raisman are still close despite the two not really being seen hanging out together in public. What’s more, the two follow each other on Instagram, so it’s safe to assume they’re still good friends.

Without a doubt, it’s always nice to see women supporting other women! We hope that this small exchange leads to us seeing Aly and McKayla interact more on social media. (Fingers crossed!)
