Kate Beckinsale has been enjoying laundry day in a sizzling sheer dress and platform heels. The 48-year-old actress proved her usual sense of humor is alive and well in a recent Instagram share, one showing off her famous legs and going glam. Kate posted for her army of Instagram followers with little context recently, although it was clear the Pearl Harbor star was washing her woolens.

Beckinsale went for a rather ordinary setting as she posed perched on the edge of her laundry machines, also throwing in some kitchen action as her legs rested by a microwave and on marbled kitchen counters.

See the photo below. It showed the ex to Pete Davidson going goddess-like as she wore a leggy and trained dress in black. The stunning number boasted a tulle train and a patterned white front, plus sheer black long sleeves. Kate looked fit for the red carpet, but it was definitely not Met Gala action as she paired her dress with a massive and strappy pair of black patent platforms.

Taking to her caption, the actress wrote: “Always good to complete at least a woolen cycle before leaving the house.” Quick to leave a like was 58-year-old Bravo star Lisa Rinna, with over 170,000 fans doing the same. While socialite Paris Hilton left a fire emoji, other fans were commenting on the kitchen setting – “Who keeps a microwave next to the washer and dryer?” one asked.

Kate speaks her mind, whether it’s telling talk show queen Kelly Ripa that her set’s faucets are “phallic” or opening up on her wellness. Speaking to Women’s Health, the British beauty opened up on her wellness mindset, stating:

“I’m very connected to my body – if I’m going to experience stress, I’m probably going to experience it physically. So, it’s usually a good idea for me to do something physical to get rid of it.” Kate mentioned a no-toxins and no-stimulants diet, but she didn’t mention the one thing that seems to really keep her going – that sense of humor.
