The Captain Marvel actress recently took to her social media to share an ethereal picture of her lounging by the pool. Like ourselves, many fans had to do a double-take in viewing this picture as Brie resembled a gorgeous mermaid ready to take us on the best aquatic adventure ever.

Brie Larson rocks sheer white dress

For her newest flick, Brie Larson dons a loose sheer white dress that appears to have been submerged in water with how tightly it hugs her body. The dress is mid-length, falling just before her knees allowing her the opportunity to show off her long legs, but our favorite part about this piece is its halter top that allows the celeb’s side body profile to be the main focal point.

As if this outfit wasn’t already amazing by itself, Brie chose pearl earrings resembling corals to complement the look. Safe to say this jewelry was her favorite part of her mermaid look, especially because her caption read, “If you listen closely, you’ll hear the ocean in my earrings.”

As for the beautiful pearl earrings, the 32-year-old actress copped them from Anita Berisha Jewelry. The earrings run for a starting price of about $110. Its highest price is nearly double that. And as for the marvelous dress, well, that also may have caused Brie a pretty penny as it was custom made from Di Pesta, an online store that specializes in goddess-like outfits.

No matter the price, Brie Larson looks otherworldly and we hope that our jaws are picked up off the floor by the time her next showstopping picture hits Instagram.
