Carrie Underwood has revealed her smoothie obsession, plus the unusual place she chooses to enjoy them in. The 38-year-old country singer and fitness queen has been opening up on her wellness journey, one now earning her mega cash as she continues to rake in profits from her 2015-founded CALIA clothing line and her 2020-founded Fit52 app.

The “Cry Pretty” hitmaker spoke to Shape this year, talking how she works out, when she finds the time, and what she uses to fuel herself. Unsurprisingly, the blonde goes super-healthy, and she definitely loves herself a smoothie.

Carrie Underwood Opens Up About Smoothies

Scroll for a workout snap. Carrie does kick off the day with coffee, but it’s fruity stuff later on. The singer told Shape: “I actually love doing smoothies for lunch. It’s a combination of post-workout and sometimes it’s also my lunch, cause I’m usually running somewhere and a smoothie is an easy thing to take on the go or in my car.”

It isn’t just any brand, though – Carrie knows her partnerships. Name-dropping the company she has a deal with, the mom of two added: “I like to use BODYARMOR LYTE (Blueberry Pomegranate) as my base, then add some beet juice, mixed berries, spinach or kale, protein powder, and some ice.”

The wannabe vegan, who also dished that she “flirts” with veganism but lives a vegetarian lifestyle, also addressed her motherhood – together with 2010-married husband Mike Fisher, the star is a parent to sons Jacob and Isaiah.

“I think what helped me stay consistent when I started back on my fitness journey after having a baby was just starting slow and not pushing myself too hard, and definitely taking that time for me,” she said, continuing: “Sometimes my baby would be there in the room with me while I was working out or it would be the two of us going out for a walk. But the most important thing is to start slow, don’t push yourself too hard.”

Reaching out to other new moms, the songstress concluded: “Start slow and you’ll get there!”
