What happened to Chanel West Coast?
Chanel West Coast might be a name you just Googled. If so, the rapper and MTV star is doing plenty, but not everyone is up-to-date. The “No Plans” hitmaker, who has been starring on popular series Ridiculousness since 2011, continues her role on TV, but there’s more to the star than delivering her unique laugh alongside Rob Dyrdek. Ahead, see details of Chanel’s life, what she’s up to, plus the album she released nearly four years late.
Chanel West Coast Has Plenty Going On
Scroll for a recent photo. Chanel has been upping her game as she celebrates her recent music success on social media – she’s followed by 3.6 million on Instagram and recently shouted out a Spotify win following the 2020 release of her America’s Sweetheart album.
The former Fashion Nova face has been steadily dropping tracks from the 19-track EP, not limited to “Vinyl” and “No Plans,” released earlier in the pandemic. The new Miami transplant produced her record independently, something she mentioned on IG recently as she wrote:
“NO LABEL, NO big marketing schemes, NO support from the blogs, NO investor, NO man helping with sh-t, etc. THANK YOU to all my FANS for streaming my music and helping me spread the word! I will not stop til these numbers are in the billions. I do this for YOU!”

“We on this journey together and I love every single one of you who supports me more than words can describe! Thank you and I’ll never give up on music swear to God,” she added.
The LOL Cartel founder, also busy juggling her merch line, has further made headlines over COVID by ditching LA for a new life in Miami. The IG photos now show Chanel in Florida, often bikini-clad, and looking sensational as she showcases her recent weight loss. West Coast has also enjoyed a recent Maxim feature, and she’s collab’d up for a beauty product.
As to where you can find Chanel online, there’s her Instagram, but things are heating up on TikTok, where the account is also racking up followers.
