If you’ve been on Twitter lately, chances are you’ve seen the rumor taking the internet by storm regarding an interesting date said to have happened between Oscar-winner Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend actress and model Camila Morrone.

According to the rumor making the rounds, Morrone is said to have recently detailed the worst date in her life in which DiCaprio is said to have rented out a whole cinema and made her watch every single Star Wars movie while he ran around with a lightsaber pretending to fight bad guys.

It’s an outlandish story that is quickly gaining traction online, but is there actually any truth to the story?

Did Leonardo DiCaprio force Camila Morrone to watch Star Wars?

While it’s entirely possible Leonardo DiCaprio could have rented a theater to enjoy a movie marathon with Camila Morrone, after all this is Leo we’re talking about, the story currently breaking the internet is nothing more than a work of fiction.

The initial “report” came from Twitter user Le Cinéphiles, an account that clearly identifies itself as a satire page within its bio page. The tweet which has sparked conversation gives itself away early on in referring to Morrone as DiCaprio’s ex-girlfriend and only piles on from there in poking fun at a recent confession from DiCaprio’s Don’t Look Up costar Jonah Hill.

Hill recently revealed in an interview with W Magazine, that Leo made him watch The Mandalorian when the pair were living together in Boston during the filming of Don’t Look.

While many are fans of the hit Disney Plus series, Hill was not among them telling W Magazine “Baby Yoda was so cute, but I just didn’t give a f–k because I didn’t know anything that it was about.”
