Kristen Stewart ‘appalled’ Prince Harry with Spencer performance

Kristen Stewart might be getting rave reviews for her work in the film Spencer, but Princess Diana’s son Prince Harry is not among those praising Stewart for her performance. In fact, it seems the youngest son of Princess Diana found the film and Stewart’s portrayal in it quite appalling.

As a source recently revealed to OK!, Stewart’s role in Spencer “struck a sour note with Harry” and left him feeling rather appalled by the film. Yikes! Given the film’s darker portrayal of Harry’s late mother, we can’t say we’re too surprised to learn he’s no fan of the film or Stewart’s portrayal of his late mother.

What’s more interesting is the fact that Harry was so disturbed by the film that he’s considering avoiding big events such as the Oscars out of concern that he might come into contact with Stewart.

As you might expect, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are both said to have been invited to this award season’s biggest events including Hollywood’s biggest night, the Oscars. While the couple is said to be hoping to attend the various festivities, the one thing that is holding them back is the fear of coming face-to-face with Stewart — someone who is getting a lot of buzz as a possible lock for best actress races.

According to OK!‘s source, Markle “figures they can just ignore [Stewart] or be briefly polite, but Harry’s not one to be fake, and his nerves are still raw.” The fear of bumping into Stewart on red carpets or various events is said to have Harry thinking about skipping the Oscars altogether.

Considering the insider’s insistence that Markle is highly interested in attending this year’s Oscars and “wants back into the Hollywood scene,” we have a feeling the pair will still end up making the rounds this season. Let’s just hope organizers of the events avoid seating Harry and Markle anywhere near Stewart.
