After a controversy-filled 2021, actress Amber Heard is swinging into 2021 and looking to leave those bad vibes and haters behind her! The 35-year-old Aquaman actress, followed by 4.1 million on Instagram, rung in the new year with a bit of fun outdoors with a lighthearted swingset photo showing off the young actress’s playful side.

No stranger to headlines, Heard emerged as one of the most talked-about figures in 2021 due in large part to her ongoing legal battle with ex-husband Johnny Depp, a legal battle that has unfolded in the public eye and created quite a wave of backlash for the actress. While the legal battle is expected to bleed over into 2022, Heard is clearly ready to put the drama behind her and swing into the new year on a more positive note!

“Swinging into 2022,” Heard captioned the photo in which she rocks a laid-back ensemble complete with a t-shirt, jeans and cargo boots. Her hair tied back, Heard tightly grasps the chains of the swing as she leans back kicking one leg up in the air for the photo.

While 2021 was an interesting year for Heard on a personal level, it ended on a high note as the Aquaman star added a new addition to her family with the adoption of an adorable new pup!

Taking to Instagram on Dec. 26, Heard happily introduced the world to her new fur-baby Barnaby Joyce – a nod to Australian Deputy PM Barnaby Joyce, who Heard feuded with back in 2015 when the actress brought her other dogs to Queensland to visit her then-husband during the filming of one of the Pirates of the Caribbean films.

That’s one way to end a feud.
