Erika Jayne is getting hate as she strips down to swimwear during her Mexico travels. The 50-year-old Bravo star, seemingly neck-deep in legal troubles amid her divorce from husband Tom Girardi, has escaped her problems with a little travel – the latest sees The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star soaking up the sun south of the border, but not without backlash.

Fans, who have been shading Erika amid allegations Tom funneled $25 million from his firm to fund her lavish lifestyle, were in early with this photo. That said, EJ did receive plenty of likes for sizzling under blue skies while in a sporty and skimpy swimsuit.

The outdoor snap showed the singer and reality star flaunting her toned body while in a one-piece – keeping it classic, Erika wore black sandals to match her swimwear, also holding onto her super-long and braided blonde hair. Statement shades added even more pizzazz as Erika wrote: “The ’80s called, and I answered.”

While a like from rapper Chanel West Coast leads the way – over 93,000 fans also sent the thumbs-up – a comment sending hate quickly gained popularity.

“Yeah the 80s called…And they want their money back,” the hater wrote. Over 250 others liked the comment. Also gaining approval was a fan writing: “Horrific photo shopped! Do better!”

“You photo shopped your foot off,” a third chimed in, adding cry-face emoji. Erika does not appear to have addressed the backlash, although she was told: “She got LEGS!” by a more-positive user.

Erika might be #single, but sources are saying she’s ready to mingle, if she hasn’t been already. In October, a Hollywood Life source dished that she’d been on a “date.”

“She’s trying the dating pool because she’s really ready to move on with her life. She’s excited to fall in love again,” they added, also confirming: “She wants to keep that very private, but she’s feeling excited about this and happy in her life right now.” Erika filed for divorce in 2020 after a 20-year marriage.

Per the HL source, Bravo producers aren’t too keen for her to start seeing anyone, either. “She’ll re-evaluate if it gets to that point, but producers are not pushing her to film her dates either,” they said.
