“WTF happened to Demi Lovato?” – now the most-liked comment as paparazzi images show the singer out and about for a spot of Halloween shopping. Shortly before the weekend, the 28-year-old was snapped on L.A. streets and with socialite Paris Hilton, with the two proving an eye-catching duo as they hit up stores.

While Paris received few comments as she rocked a yellow minidress and heeled booties, Demi wound up seeing fans shocked – the former Disney star was also body shamed.

Demi Lovato Spotted Shopping With Paris Hilton

Scroll for the photos. Demi had gone for a very different style compared to Hilton, who was rocking her ageless leggy dress look as she wore a short-sleeved frock with a cute heart cut-out at the chest.

Lovato, going casual but also with a grunge-class edge, sported tight black leggings and a massive plaid shirt. The podcast host also added height to their frame via black platform boots, with aviator shades matching their jet-black and semi-long mullet. Demi was also seen carrying a stylish black handbag as they smiled at the cameras – their nose ring here made a statement.

The photos, shared by Just Jared, shouted out “Demi Lovato and Paris Hilton” as stepping out for “some Halloween shopping.” The response has been immense, and not particularly friendly.

With “WTF happened” to Lovato topping replies, users have been jumping in. “B Hollywood happened,” one fan replied, although others were quick to suggest the eating disorder survivor has gained weight. Demi has bravely opened up on battling bulimia, something they’ve been in rehab for and have helped other sufferers face.

“I thought the same,” one user replied. Further comments came as: “Demi. Oh no,” with another fan saying: “Whaat? Demi.” Click here for the photos, scroll for more.

Fans Say Quit Body-Shaming

Demi, who made 2019 headlines for clapping back at a reporter detailing their “fuller figure,” was quickly backed, though. Gaining likes was a fan writing: “Why everyone thinks can talk about a person’s body?”

“Omg the girl has overcome eating disorders, let her f-cking live,” another retorted.

Earlier this year, Lovato opened up on their eating disorder past – they began purging aged just 8 – saying food is still “the biggest challenge” of their life. “The less I have to think about food, the easier it is to go about having a normal life and I don’t want to let anybody down so when I do have moments when I slip up, I feel very ashamed,” they added.
