Adele Reveals All About 100-Pound Weight Loss
Scroll for the photos. The “Rolling in the Deep” hit-maker proved candid and open as she discussed shedding 100 pounds. Unlike singer Jessica Simpson, who largely relied on an egg and egg-white heavy diet to shift the same amount, Adele has confessed she’s addicted to working out.
Speaking to Vogue, the blonde admitted that “one of the reasons people lost the plot was because actually, it was [losing 100 pounds] over a two-year period”. She then straight-up revealed that the root of the problem was anxiety.
“Working out, I would just feel better. It was never about losing weight, it was always about becoming strong and giving myself as much time every day without my phone,” she added. “I got quite addicted to it. I work out two or three times a day.”
Addicted To Exercise
The Grammy winner continued: “So I do my weights in the morning, then I normally hike or I box in the afternoon, and then I go and do my cardio at night.” The interview, now covered by every celebrity and entertainment media outlet around, has likewise been covered on social media. On Thursday, Just Jared updated with a photo of Adele and while mentioning her interview. Here’s where fans have had enough.
Fans Say Quit Focusing On Her Weight
Replies are now topped by a user writing: “Maybe if we stopped making weight a thing, we could all@stop commenting. Come up with some original questions already.”
Echoing the thought, a fan stated: “Adele’s amazing…no one should comment or ask questions about her weight…her talents more important,” with a third jumping in to say: “She is amazing- whatever her weight.”
Adele had herself stated that “you don’t need to be overweight to be body positive” while speaking to Vogue. “You can be any shape or size,” the songstress added. She also happened to clearly not be a fan of the term “Revenge Body” – Khloe Kardashian might have thoughts about that one.
