Lisa has been making headlines as she continues to flog her 2020-launched cosmetics brand, one now approved by 50-year-old pal and “Live!” host Kelly Ripa. The former “Melrose Place” actress, whose lipstick shades include Birthday Suit and No Apologies, has also opened up on her brand, admitting that it was decades in the making and anything but straight-forward to build.

“It’s been in the works a long, long time. It was something that seemed like the perfect fit, [to] start a lip line. I first wanted to do it… I would say at least 10 years ago, maybe even more. I kept getting close to finding the right partner, the right cosmetic company to work with,” she told Allure in November 2020, adding that “every single time,” things fell through.

“But in the back of my mind, I was like, “I’m not going to give up. I’m just not.” I never take no for an answer, and here we are,” she concluded.
