Kelsea Ballerini is wowing in a pink bikini and boots to announced something unexpected and exciting. The 27-year-old country singer was, earlier today, unveiled as the new celebrity face of clothing brand Aerie, with photos on her Instagram documenting her effort in promoting the brand’s new #AerieReal campaign.
Kelsea, who delivered a stunning undies shot – with zero editing – showed off her gorgeous good looks and her confidence in three photos, all of which brought the “homecoming queen?” singer with a smile and a natural finish.
Kelsea Ballerini Stuns In New Aerie Campaign
Seen below, the photos showed Kelsea in largely outdoor settings. The Chick-Fil-A lover, who has also been known to rock McDonald’s socks in bed, proved that her healthy attitude to food is the best one. She opened in a plunging pink bikini top and opened striped shirt, sitting amid outdoor greenery and in white cowboy boots, with the next photo bringing some striped underwear action.
Ballerini, who went unedited in the photos, told fans that she never imagined she would be going minus any Photoshop while in her underwear. The Tennessee native intro’d her ambassador status with pride and with body-positivity, telling her 2.5 million followers:
“Very proud and thrilled to partner with @aerie for the launch of our #AerieREAL Voices campaign. it’s all about celebrating what makes us confident and doing it with no filters and with all the self love. tell us why you’re #AerieREAL on aerie.com and you could be part of our next campaign. #AeriePartner.”
Aerie’s #AeriesReal Voices campaign also features gymnast Aly Raisman, Antonia Gentry, the Rollettes and NaeNae Twins as the brand goes celebrity to encourage fans to be and share their real selves. Kelsea, who was caught out in a hot dog snap backstage this month, is all about sharing her real self anyway. She wrote:
“I’m proud of the personal growth I’ve had recalibrating my relationship with my body and what feels healthy, strong, and sustainable for myself and lifestyle. vulnerable? yes, but happy.”
Aerie launched its REAL people in 2014 in an effort to erase the norm of unrealistic beauty standards and bring real bodies to the forefront of fashion. Kelsea, gathering fan and celeb comments, including one from “Teen Mom” star Leah Messer, was told: “GET IT GIRL! Your personal growth and confidence is shining through this!! So proud of you!!” as fans gushed over her.
