Chanel West Coast is giving a giant nod to rapper Jay-Z, pointing out that she’s got “99 problems but a beach ain’t one.” The 32-year-old rapper, known for her sense of humor, has ramped up the hip-hop references for her Instagram followers, with the beach-set video showing off the “Alcoholic” hit-maker’s killer swimsuit body as she goes cheeky in an ultra $$$ bathing suit.
Chanel has a designer brand as her middle name. The MTV face was, however, in luxury French Louis Vuitton for this post, wearing a monogrammed swim look and even throwing in a matching bucket hat.
Chanel West Coast Has 99 Problems
The video, below, came from West Coast sands and prior to Chanel ditching L.A. for her summer 2021 Miami move. The LOL Cartel founder, flaunting her super-long legs and impossibly-toned rear, went colorful in a largely yellow and pastel swimsuit, one that came strappy, backless and with pops of pink.
Posing on a beach and seemingly out to have fans ogle her fierce figure, Chanel stunned in her expensive look, but this post was as much about the caption. West Coast had swiped words from 2003 track “99 problems,” although the video didn’t seem to show many of them. In fact, following her swimsuit show-off, Chanel flaunted her designer possessions, not limited to a Louis Vuitton tote matching her beachwear, plus a pair of wedged Christian Louboutin sandals.
Chanel rarely misses an opportunity to promote her beats, doing so here as she played her pandemic-released “No Plans” track. The hit song is from 2020-released album “America’s Sweetheart,” a 19-track EP including the popular “40 Yard Dash” and 2019-released “Black Roses.”
Chanel’s 3.5 million Instagram followers have also been getting some Versace of late, although Chanel did admit she couldn’t remember which season of “Ridiculousness” is now on. West Coast has starred on the popular MTV show since 2011. While WC still features on the series, her focus has been music of late, particularly with “America’s Sweetheart” coming out after a four-year delay.
“It’s my passion, and no matter what, even if I never get a hit single, I’m going to keep making music. But, I like to say I think that big hit is right around the corner,” she told Maxim.
Speaking of her career overall, the Fashion Nova face added: “I didn’t know how hard it would be. It’s been one of the hardest, longest journeys I’ve ever been on.”
