Dolly Parton sizzles in Playboy bunny costume

Nobody is going to be stealing Dolly Parton’s man. The country singer would give Jolene a run for her money with Dolly’s latest outfit. On Tuesday, the 75-year-old posted a Twitter video of her wearing a Playboy bunny costume. Decked out in the black suit with matching ears along with dazzling pink cuffs, Parton explained why she was dolled up.

This isn’t the first time Parton has donned the iconic costume. In 1978, she wore the same outfit to pose for the magazine’s cover. Dolly’s Playboy shoot was historic because she was the first country singer ever to pose for the publication.

Although many Playboy models are known for baring it all, Dolly set boundaries when it came to her shoot, opting to remain fully clothed for the spread. The 9 to 5 actress expressed her desire to do another cover for the publication when she turned 75. Unfortunately with the magazine no longer in print, it looked like Parton wasn’t going to get her wish.

However, that didn’t stop her from slipping on the bunny suit for a special occasion.

Dolly Parton glams up for husband’s birthday

Dolly’s husband Carl Dean celebrated his 79th birthday on Tuesday, and the country crooner decided to make it a memorable one. In her Twitter video, Parton said Carl was a big fan of the original 1978 cover so she decided to recreate it just for him.

Dressed in her bunny costume, Parton gave her 5.2 million followers a glimpse at a framed picture that had her original cover along with her recent photoshoot. She jokes that her figure’s changed over the years, but after 57 years together, Carl thinks she’s still a hot chick.

Unlike his famous wife, Carl prefers to stay out of the spotlight. There’s rarely been any photos of him out in public. Parton respects her husband’s privacy, and in a short clip from her recent video, the back of Carl’s head is seen as Dolly presents him with his gift.

With Dolly going all out to recreate a Playboy photoshoot, it seemed like Carl had a happy birthday.
