Courtney Stodden is celebrating International Non-Binary Day – early. The 26-year-old reality star and former teen bride made April 2021 headlines for ditching being “she” and going non-binary, with today seeing the blonde share a stunning Daisy Dukes snap as they honored being gender fluid.

Posting for their 314,000 Instagram followers today, Courtney sent out an open-armed and lakeside photo all sun-drenched and legs in tiny frayed shorts, with a celebratory caption also tapping into their thoughts on gender.

Courtney Stodden Rocks Daisy Dukes To Celebrate

See the photo below. Stodden, joined by high-profile non-binary celebrities including singer Demi Lovato, posted back to the camera and seeming to have the time of their life. Overlooking calm waters and distant hills, Courtney posed joyfully while in their high-waisted denims, also rocking a strappy nude-colored cami, plus a giant floppy hat shouting out summer.

Taking to their caption, the ex to The Green Mile actor Dough Hutchison, wrote:

"“Identifying as nonbinary, to me, means that I am no longer existing under a controlled mindset. I feel free. Identifying as nonbinary allows me to live outside of typical standards.”"

“Identifying as nonbinary, I believe, is a spectrum. Some identify closer to femininity — others identify closer to masculinity, or none at all. I happen to fall right in the center,” they added, continuing that some days they feel “more masculine,” but that others leave them feeling more “feminine.”

Stodden concluded that it’s “fluid” – in fact, that they are – continuing that “today is a great day” and that “every day holds a beautiful opportunity to embrace yourself.”

Comments were disabled, although likes did come in fast. Courtney, this year making headlines for their engagement to entrepreneur Chris Sheng, is just shy of three months since coming out as non-binary and stating it’s: “They/them/theirs” as they confirmed no longer identifying as “her.”

Courtney, a former beauty pageant face and known for their teen marriage, is now happy with Sheng, 41. The star is set to launch a beauty line and has been teasing a future tell-all book about their failed marriage, one they continue to slam amid claims they were “groomed” by a then 51-year-old Doug. Stodden has this year also been in the news as cookbook queen Chrissy Teign apologizes to them for past “bullying” tweets – back in 2011, the model and wife to John Legend encouraged Courtney to take their own life.
