Sofia Vergara sparks complaints in plunging swimsuit

Sofia Vergara didn’t have everyone on her side as she posed all bombshell-like and windswept in a plunging Dolce & Gabbana swimsuit yesterday. The 48-year-old sitcom star, who fronts the luxury Italian brand, largely dropped jaws as she posed from a tropical ocean setting and for her 22.2 million Instagram followers, although some took issue with the snap.

Sofia’s fabulous and former model figure took center stage as she flaunted her world-famous curves in the multicolor bathing suit – you be the judge over the accusations that are now peppered across the comments section.

Vergara, known for her modeling throwbacks and regularly proving she’s still got it as she approaches 50, had posed in the Majorca Print Balconette Swimsuit, which D&G no longer retails. The Modern Family alum gained over 377,000 likes for posing all parted lips and tiny waist in the cupped swimwear, a number the star paired with a chic and patterned sarong as she rocked dark shades and sent out fun emoji.

“Do u ever age?!?!” one fan asked the America’s Got Talent judge. Meanwhile, another user asked which brand the swimwear was. Sofia may rock $27 jeans from her Walmart denim label, but the Colombian-born star is a high-end girl at heart.

Less-positive comments were, however, logged. Fans seemed to think that Vergara had digitally edited her image to make her look more appealing – “Such a pity she uses Photoshop,” one fan wrote as they called her “beautiful.” Another said they were “sorry,” asking if anyone else was “seeing the Photoshop on the left side of her waist?”

Sofia is largely accepted to keep her photos raw and real. The attitude is also reflected in interviews as Sofia often references her love of snacking – this is also evident on her Instagram, where entire posts have been dedicated to the actress chomping down on French fries and shrimp, plus the Ritz crackers brand she now fronts.

Major Sweet Tooth

Speaking to Celebuzz, the star revealed she just can’t resist treats, stating:

“Anything that is sweet, cakes, I love chocolates, chocolate bars, peanut butter with chocolate…. It’s like you name it. I don’t have a problem with picking what I want to eat in sweets, my problem is always trying to eat them in moderation.”
