Carrie Underwood stuns blackberry picking in tie-dye shorts
Carrie Underwood has been foraging in nature and showing off her world-famous legs at the same time. The 38-year-old country superstar and CALIA by Carrie founder went blackberry-picking over the weekend, posting a rare family moment to her Instagram and reminding her followers that nature is best.
Carrie, who released her Find Your Path diet and exercise book in March 2020, has spent much of 2021 going low-key and natural from her home kitchen, from her crustless veggie quiche – made from refrigerator leftovers – to the most recent “bad boy” peppers display on her stories.
On Monday night, the “Before He Cheats” hit-maker updated with a quick story to show her weekend activities, ones that came amid woodlands and with the American Idol winner rocking the pandemic’s biggest tie-dye shorts trend. Carrie was all steely-strong legs as she caught a little sun – the mom of two also featured eldest son Isaiah in her photo.
Carrie Underwood Takes Advantage Of Nature
Scroll for a video that not too long ago made headlines as the blonde actually stumbled across a lucky four-leaf clover during a weekend woodlands run. The snap showed the “Southbound” singer reaching out to pick blackberries as she rocked teeny-tiny and pink tie-dye shorts, sturdy outdoor boots, plus a blue shirt and baseball cap. Isaiah, 5, was busy helping his momma – in fact, he got a shout-out as Carrie wrote: “Little helpers are good too!”
Carrie, who made 2020 headlines for revealing she starved herself on just 800 calories a day following her 2005 American Idol win, has since opened up on what she eats – occasionally, it’s eggs laid by the chickens she raises in her backyard.
“I just love knowing where things come from,” Carrie told Women’s Health Mag. The Fit52 app founder also revealed healthy breakfasts of Ezekiel bread, tofu scrambles, and coffee, and here’s where the fruit comes in. Carrie kicks off the day with blueberries, too.
Underwood, who calls herself a “wannabe vegan,” also adores vegan chicken stir-fries and smoothies. Her book comes packed with recipes for healthy home eats, ones that also work for the entire family. Carrie is, herself, a mom to sons Isaiah and Jacob, both welcomed with 2010-married husband Mike Fisher.
“I do have my vice,” Carrie did reveal, though: “and it’s red wine. It’s good for my heart, right?!”
