RHONJ: Jackie & Teresa make up (again), but will it last?

It has been a long season of fighting, cheating rumors, and fake Gorga storylines, but Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 11 officially wrapped tonight with the second part of its reunion. In all honesty, not much happened in the reunion beyond Andy grilling Teresa, Jennifer and Dolores. He had barely any questions at all for Melissa, Jackie or Marge. In fact, despite getting a chair next to Andy at the RHONJ Season 11 reunion, Jackie had nothing to talk about except Teresa.

But at least Jackie had something to say, whereas Melissa said maybe two sentences in the entire hour. Seriously, why are the Gorgas still on this show? Joe I can understand, he contributes more than Melissa does, but Andy doesn’t even pretend to hide his Gorga bias in this episode.

I digress, let’s move on to the main point of this second part, which is for Jackie and Teresa to make amends, (again). Despite accepting Teresa’s apology earlier in the season, (which, admittedly, wasn’t a great apology, but Jackie still accepted it!) Jackie says she’s not over the cheating rumor. Of course she isn’t, she doesn’t have another storyline to offer (if it walks like a duck and it quacks like a duck…).

By the end of the hour, Teresa has failed to understand why what she did is wrong, but she offers Evan a much better apology, for her. Then Jackie tries to claim that Teresa just doesn’t like her at all and will never accept her as a friend, so Teresa extends another olive branch in the form of playing golf together with Luis.

As for the rumor itself, I think fans have all decided that Margaret started it, told production, who then fed it to Teresa, but she doesn’t take the blame for it. She also tells Jennifer that Jennifer isn’t “for woman” which is funny coming from the woman who spent last season criticizing Danielle’s vagina, porn, and everything else she could think of –– oh and from the woman who slept with another man’s husband and continues to joke about how she used to take a shower so no one would smell him on her!

But if you thought Marge would get called out on any of her hypocrisy and borderline racist comments from this season (mail-order bride never got hashed out, and neither does concubine), you likely won’t have been satisfied. Marge doesn’t get a single hard-hitting question from Andy, surprise surprise.

All in all, the RHONJ Season 11 reunion brought some fun heat, mostly in the form of Jennifer dragging Marge and Melissa, but was one of the weaker installments from the show, overall.

As for Jackie and Teresa, it’ll be interesting to see if they can remain friends next season, I’m sure there is nothing Melissa fears more.
