RHONJ: Jennifer Aydin disses Margaret Josephs’ parenting style
By Mads Lennon
We already know that Jennifer Aydin and Margaret Josephs have been at each other’s throats throughout the latest season of Real Housewives of New Jersey and at the reunion, but things are still heated between them even off the air. Jennifer recently dissed her RHONJ co-star in a recent podcast appearance, per Us Weekly.
That said, it’s not like Margaret hasn’t had it coming since she suggested that Jennifer’s husband, Bill Aydin, is her “meal ticket,” dissed her for being a stay-at-home mom, and called her a concubine.
During Us Weekly’s Getting Real with the Real Housewives podcast, Jennifer clapped back at Margaret by saying that Margaret was a hypocrite.
"“She tells me I’m not the poster child for a stay-at-home mom, yet she talks about how she sent her kids to sleep away camp and spent her summers in the Hamptons. So, who’s really the poster child, sweetheart?”"
Ironically, despite what Margaret says about Jennifer and her marriage, Jennifer actually thinks her relationship with Bill has gotten even stronger since they started.
Jennifer didn’t regret the boss comment she made in RHONJ Season 11 at the moment
Another big moment of contention between the RHONJ ladies was when Jennifer made a disparaging comment about Margaret’s relationship with her boss, who she claims took advantage of her at a young age.
However, Jennifer says that when Margaret first described it, it seemed like she was describing a positive experience. She later apologized for saying it but says that at the moment where she first said it, she didn’t regret it.
"“Whatever it is that I was mistaken for, I apologized for. The reason I don’t regret it is because in that moment, when she was telling her story [of her former boss] she said he was a good-looking guy. She also said she loved older men, she always liked older men and that was her thing. You know, this wasn’t the first boss that she slept with. It didn’t seem like it was a big deal when she was talking about it. She was doing what she needed to do to keep her job and when I say, like, ‘Get ahead,’ she didn’t say that, but that’s how I was interpreting it and I apologized for it.”"
Overall, Jennifer was very happy with the season and has no real regrets from Season 11. If anything, she says she wished they had gotten more episodes and felt similar to fans that they had gotten ripped off with so few episodes compared to the normal seasons that generally go to at least 20 versus this season’s 15.
Don’t miss the second part of the RHONJ Season 11 reunion tonight on Bravo at 9/8c.
