RHOC: Vicki is still adjusting to life without the housewives
By Mads Lennon
Vicki Gunvalson is still struggling to adapt to life post-Real Housewives of Orange County, says her daughter Briana Culberson. During the recent Watch What Happens Live special focusing on Real Housewives kids, which aired this past Sunday, Briana discussed what her mom’s life was like without RHOC.
“I think she’s still adjusting. I don’t think it’s what she really wants for her life. I think she misses it and she misses the whole process and everybody,” says Briana.
It’s understandable that Vicki would have a hard time moving on, considering she was on the show for 14 years. It must be weird to suddenly not be part of it anymore.
Before Vicki was ousted, she was bumped down to a “friend of,” which was already hard enough for the OG of the OC. Let’s be honest, Vicki overstayed her welcome. I know she still has fans that will disagree with me, but I stand by it. Vicki was an absolute nightmare at her last reunion.
That said, RHOC is going down the drain and fast. The last season was basically unwatchable, and it’s been on the decline for a while now, even before Vicki and Tamra Judge left. Personally, I think Tamra should come back, but I think the time for Vicki Gunvalson is over.
Briana Culberson says Vicki Gunvalson is ‘missing a piece’ of herself since leaving RHOC.
Briana continued, adding that it seems like Vicki is “missing a piece” since leaving the show. She enjoys having more time with her mom, and rewatching the older episodes has made the 34-year-old appreciate some aspects of Vicki’s personality more.
“I always thought she was crazy and funny, but I guess I didn’t realize how funny she truly is and how clumsy she is,” she shared.
Briana Culberson thinks Meghan King Edmonds did Vicki Gunvalson the ‘dirtiest.’
During the WWHL special, Briana also confessed her opinion on the housewife who did Vicki the “dirtiest” during her 14-year run on the show. In Briana’s opinion, Meghan King Edmonds was quite rough on Vicki when she accused her of working with Brooks Ayers to lie about his cancer diagnosis in the tenth season.
“I would have to say Meghan kind of came for my mom for a little while and that was kind of hard to watch. The whole Brooks thing was hard to be involved with and hard to watch and I kind of wish [Vicki] would have just taken a step back from him and realized how horrible he was,” said Briana.
