RHOSLC: Brooks Marks says Jen Shah allegations are ‘seriously horrific’
By Mads Lennon
There’s no love lost between Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah and Brooks Marks (Meredith Marks’s son). The two didn’t get along well during RHOSLC Season 1 and Brooks has made several shady comments about Jen even before she was arrested.
Well, now that Jen is surrounded by controversy, Brooks couldn’t help but give his input during the recent Watch What Happens Live special featuring several children from the Real Housewives. Andy Cohen asked Brooks what he thought since many viewers wanted to know Brooks’s reaction.
“I feel absolutely terrible for her kids particularly. The stuff that she’s being accused of is seriously horrific,” said Brooks.
If you recall during RHOSLC Season 1, Brooks seemed to think that Jen was an inappropriate person for his mom to hang out with, and accused her of flashing her vagina toward him while fooling around on the couch in one episode.
I’m not a fan of Brooks. I think he’s kind of a brat and I don’t think Jen flashed anything in that instance. However, he’s definitely got a point about Jen’s allegations. What she has been accused of (she pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering charges in April) is horrific and I’m sure her kids aren’t having an easy time of it.
Gia Giudice offers some advice to Jen Shah’s sons after the RHOSLC star’s arrest
That’s why Real Housewives of New Jersey star Gia Giudice, daughter of Teresa Giudice, who knows what it’s like to have a parent get arrested and go to jail, chimed in on the matter, too. She offered some advice to Jen’s sons, Sharreiff Jr. and Omar.
"“Personally, throughout all this, I’ve just learned to not focus more on the negativity and know your parents for who they are because anything can happen every day. So you just need to enjoy every moment. Negativity has been a very big part of my family’s life.”"
Currently, Jen is still filming RHOSLC, and it looks like she’ll be present in the show’s second season. Bravo is definitely going to try and capture as much of this legal ordeal on camera as possible.
