Well, the secret is finally out (not that it hasn’t been out for a while among fans) about Teresa Giudice’s new boyfriend on Real Housewives of New Jersey. The OG housewife has been through a lot these past several years between jail time and her divorce from Joe Giudice, but now it looks like she’s found love again with Luis Ruelas.

Teresa’s sister-in-law Melissa Gorga even said she believed wedding bells were in the future for Teresa and Luis on the most recent episode of RHONJ. “I believe this is her husband,” she told her co-stars Margaret Josephs and Jackie Goldschneider. But who, exactly, is Luis Ruelas and is he good enough for Teresa?

Who is Teresa Giudice’s boyfriend, Luis Ruelas, and what does he do?

According to research compiled by The Sun, Luis “Louie” Ruelas is the co-founder of a company called Digital Media Solutions and the executive vice president at the company, which specializes in digital marketing solutions. He also has two children from a previous relationship, one of who is autistic.

An active philanthropist, Luis’s company bio reads, “spends a great deal of time advocating for children with special needs with a particular focus on Autism given his son’s condition.”

How long have Teresa Giudice and Luis been together?

Fans who have been following along with Teresa’s relationship know the pair have been spotted together since last year. Hollywood Life reported on their relationship back in November of last year.

At the time, a source exclusively revealed, “The relationship between Teresa and Luis is very new. She’s very happy and they’re still getting to know each other. She’s been ready to move on for a really long time now and is taking it slow but seems to really like him,”

However, despite all the positive press surrounding Luis and everyone being happy for Teresa, it’s not all good news. Kim DePaola recently did an interview where she made several inflammatory remarks about Teresa’s new beau. According to the infamous Kim D., Luis has a sordid past that includes cheating allegations and more.

In an article from Distractify, they identified Luis’s ex-wife as Marisa DiMartino. The pair were married until 2011. And despite Kim D.’s comments, Marisa had nothing but nice things to say about her ex-husband while chatting with In Touch, adding that she was really happy for him and Teresa.

“He takes care of me and my children, and that’s what it comes down to,” she said.

But while DiMartino had glowing praise for Luis, his ex-fiancée had a much different experience. She reportedly filed a lawsuit against him, alleging that he was sexually demanding and would punish her for not satisfying him.

“He demanded that I be available for sex whenever he wanted,” she claimed in court papers, per Page Six. “If I objected to his demands, Luis Ruelas would punish me. He would be nasty, withdraw from me, and blame me for what happened.”

Their lawsuit was eventually settled out of court.

His girlfriend before Vanessa, Paula Sanchez, who he dated for seven years, made similar claims.

“Ninety-nine percent of their fights were because he was complaining that they weren’t having enough sex.  If they had sex like four times in one day, there was a complaint,” a source told Page Six of Luis’s relationship with Paula.

Per Distractify, rumors are floating around that Luis has been spotted going on dating apps since his relationship with Tre has gone public. Luis has denied those claims.

For now, it seems like Teresa is happy, and all we can do is hope for the best.
