RHOD: Tiffany Moon’s husband accused of treating women like ‘objects’
By Mads Lennon
In some sobering news from the Real Housewives of Dallas, it looks like Tiffany Moon’s family is embroiled in a heavy lawsuit. Per an exclusive from Radar Online, Tiffany Moon’s father-in-law is facing a civil lawsuit. The lawsuit alleges that David sexually assaulted a former employee.
In the court documents obtained by the outlet, it claimed that David Moon’s legal team is fighting to dismiss the suit. It was originally filed back in 2019 and the trial is currently set to begin in June.
A woman using the pseudonym Jane Doe filed the lawsuit against David Moon and his relative Sam Moon, along with their family-owned real estate company Sam Moon Group. Tiffany’s husband Daniel Moon also works at the company. Per the documents, the plaintiff worked as a cart girl at the family’s golf course, Coyote Ridge Golf Club and the alleged victim brought up another lawsuit.
The other alleged victim said in a separate lawsuit that David and his sons, Daniel and Sam, “have treated women as objects of their sexual urges instead of as the women—daughters, sisters, wives, and mothers—they are. They used Coyote Ridge Golf Club as their sexual playground.”
In the suit, the alleged victim accused the defendants of assault and battery. The lawsuit filed by Doe also contains additional accusations of racism and discriminatory hiring practices.
You can read all the other sordid details about the case at the source, but needless to say, it’s a mess.
Tiffany Moon and Daniel have been together since 2008. They share 6-year-old twin daughters Chloe and Madison together and she is also the stepmother to his twins from a previous relationship.
Tiffany Moon might not return for RHOD Season 6
We previously reported that Tiffany wasn’t entirely sure she would be back for the next season of RHOD. Initially, it seemed like the breakout newcomer wasn’t coming back because of how the other ladies treated her, but now some are wondering if she wants to avoid airing out her family’s legal troubles on national television.
You can catch Tiffany Moon starring in new episodes of RHOD, which air Tuesday nights at 9:00 p.m. on Bravo.
