It’s only been a few days since her arrest, but Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah isn’t wasting any time establishing her innocence and even promoting “Free Jen” clothing. Jen officially broke her silence yesterday for the first time since the arrest happened –– on Instagram, of course.

Per Us Weekly, the reality star and alleged scam artist took to Instagram to share love to her fans who had shown her support and admit this entire ordeal has proven who her “true friends” are.

It makes one wonder if Jen’s supposed bestie Heather Gay is part of that announcement. Is Heather standing by her friend or does she believe Jen is guilty?

Jen Shah shows love to her fans, thanks them for being loyal to her

On Saturday, Jen wrote, “Thank you for being loyal, believing in me and not believing the hype. This journey has showed me who my true friends are. All my love. #ShahSquad.”

Not to be all Regina George but who is going to tell Jen that #ShahSquad is never going to be a thing? Also, “not believing the hype,” ma’am you were arrested by the feds!

She wrote her statement on her Instagram stories and I’m wondering who the heck thought it was a good idea to let her anywhere near social media right now, but I digress. The text accompanied a photo of a sweatshirt with her face on it and “Free Jen” made by Christian Gray Snow. Jen also shared some fan messages and thanked them all for the love.

My big question is, will Brooke Marks be making an Orange is the New Black-style tracksuit for her?

As of yet, no one in the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast has made any official statements regarding Jen’s arrest. Does anyone else wonder if Sharrieff had a ready-made Coach Shah speech for this situation?
