Real Housewives of Potomac: Is there any way for the group to move on?

The Real Housewives of Potomac are moving through the season without any resolution with Monique Samuels.  Will they ever move past it?

The Real Housewives of Potomac can run, but they can’t hide from the drama between Candiace Dillard Bassett and Monique Samuels.  The ladies even went to Portugal for their cast trip (without Monique) but it still disintegrated into a mess when Ashley Darby informed Candiace that she was writing a statement to back up Monique.

The group had a good time visiting the beach, going on tours of the country, drinking the local delicacy of Madeira called Poncha, but it all came crashing down during their final party.  Gizelle Bryant and Wendy Osefo remain firmly on Team Candiace and Karen Huger seems to have taken to Team No One.  They showed part of the report that Candiace filed which noted that she “released” the wine glass into Monique’s face, which is a very evasive way of saying she threw the glass at her.

Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any way for the group to move past this.  Andy Cohen commented that the reunion was so crazy it would end up being four parts.  Monique allegedly brought a binder full of receipts to read the ladies on Team Candiace up and down.  Karen, who remains neutral for now, apparently chose Team Monique at the reunion.

At this point, Monique is clearly being cut from episodes so they don’t have to pay her, a suspension a la NeNe Leakes.  Usually, when someone isn’t filming with the rest of the group, we see their home lives or family scenes get tossed in the mix with the group scenes.  Monique has not been in the last few episodes but it does seem she shows up next week at Karen’s party.  However, is this the beginning of the end of Monique as a housewife?

Usually, the ladies are required to live-tweet during the episode, but Monique hasn’t even been doing that.  Even Karen has been tweeting away while the show is on!

The kiss of death for a full-time wife is when none of the women will film with someone.  It limits how much facetime they can actually get on the show.  Right now, it seems only Ashley will film with Monique, but Karen did invite her to the wig shift party.  Will the reunion be Monique’s last act?  The jury is definitely still out on that.

The Real Housewives of Potomac will be back next Sunday at 9 PM.
