RHOC: Jeana Keough claims she was backstabbed by the OG of the OC

Jeana Keough claims that she was fired from The Real Housewives of Orange County when Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge cut her out of a deal.

Jeana Keough was on David Yontef’s podcast, Behind The Velvet Rope, and spilled all kinds of tea about her former castmates Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge.  While Vicki spent most of last year screaming at people that The Real Housewives of Orange County was created for her and was inspired by her, it has long been rumored to actually have been more about Jeana and her family.

The episode that featured Jeana was aptly titled “Jeana Keough (The other OG of the OC)” which we know has Vicki in a tizzy in her Puerto Vallarta condo.  Vicki always takes the credit for the show and even told Andy Cohen at the RHOC reunion that he needed to “remember where he came from.”  She was fired shortly after that one.

Jeana claimed that her friends at the time, Vicki and Tamra, got rid of Jeana in order to make more money for themselves.  Apparently, something happened and the other ladies realized that they could make more money without Jeana, so out she went!  According to Jeana, some agent told them they could make more money if it was just the two of them, and because she trusted her friends, she did not respond to the offer in time.  It was always believed that Jeana walked away because she wanted to focus on her family, but she was apparently fired.

“She scared me a little.  She’s very energetic,” Jeana said about Vicki when she first met her.  Jeana said the show was supposed to be called “Behind the Gates” but their neighborhood didn’t even have gates at the time.  The only gates that existed were the ones on Tammy Knickerbocker’s home, which they eventually used for the into!

It sounds like Jeana has moved on to greater things anyway and holds no grudges.  “It was fine, it was time,” she said about leaving the show.  Just another cog in the Tamra/Vicki machine, we suppose.
