RHOP: Receipts! Candiace Dillard, didn’t you toss a knife at Ashley Darby last year?

RHOP is in the home stretch of the season and things are heating up!

Then… we have Mrs. Candiace Dillard Bassett and Mrs. Monique Samuels. Where do we begin?  Well, let’s just give a quick synopsis. They got into an altercation.  Monique ended up with a handful of hair.  Glasses were broken.  Candiace ended up an emotional wreck.  Finally, Monique told us all that she was about to kill Candiace.  Ok, that’s the gist and end of it. Or so we thought.

As we all know by now, Candiace pressed charges against Monique. While I am not here to talk about the merits or legalities of it all, I am here to discuss the incidence itself and the tone of Candiace since.  Let me start by asking this. Did Candiace not throw a whole knife, butter or not, at Ashley last season?

Is she not the same person that has constantly been the aggressor and the stirrer upper of things since she arrived on the show? How is she now pressing charges on someone else for giving her exactly what she has been threatening to give people since she arrived on the show, especially when you consider the type of rhetoric she uses.

In just this latest episode, you can see her insinuating that she will deal with someone. You have to take that as a promise of physical engagement right?  That’s the energy she has been giving off since she arrived.  She has talked, acted, and thrown weapons during her entire tenure as if she couldn’t wait to put her hands on someone, but now this?

Again, this isn’t a conversation to ask about why she filed charges (but that was such a soft, devious, and downright wrong move, for many reasons that include the fact that it wasn’t her idea to do it, she wasn’t really harmed, and she has made physical threats towards people as well), but this is to speak a bit on what we have seen over the past few weeks.

Again, this is the same lady who has all but threatened to kill Ashley at times herself.  Are we all forgetting that?  Are the ladies all forgetting that? Most importantly, is Candiace forgetting that?
