RHOC: Kelly Dodd has the maturity level of a piece of fruit

RHOC’s Kelly Dodd is still not making any new fans, this time taking aim at her ex-husband, her new daughter-in-law, and her husband’s ex-fiancé.

Since getting married to Rick Leventhal, The Real Housewives of Orange County’s most controversial star, Kelly Dodd,  has been on her worst behavior.  Last week, she was on Instagram talking about how her ex-husband, Michael Dodd, was a “deadbeat dad” to their daughter, Jolie.  She uploaded the video for her 750,000 followers to see…and for what?  But this week, she’s taken aim at Rick’s daughter, Veronica, and his ex-fiancé, Lauren Sivan.

The “who,” the “what,” but not the “why”

Over the weekend, Lauren and Veronica were apparently hanging out in Palm Springs, California.  Lauren posted a photo of the two on Instagram with the caption, “You may have a new stepmom but I’ll forever tell people I had you as a teen 😜.”

Kelly, ever the mature one, was quick to respond, “That’s funny because @not_topanga told me and Rick she hated you as a teenager.”  She also commented that she tore her face out of photos as a teen.  And in one final jab, noted that it was too bad that Lauren didn’t have her own kids.

Um, what?

What exactly does a 45-year-old, married, happy, wealthy woman get out of acting like such a teenager?  Jolie has proven time and time again that at the ripe age of 14, she has much more maturity than her mother.  Kelly married Rick, why is she attacking his kids and ex-fiancé now?  And why does Rick allow it?

It seems that even in the happiest of times, Kelly is nothing but nasty and combative, especially towards her RHOC cast members.  It is obvious that she’s learned nothing about keeping her thoughts to herself as she continues to make herself look bad multiple times a day.

Perhaps Rick enjoys this behavior, he did marry her after all.  It sure seems like it.  Less than two weeks after their wedding, Kelly seems to have alienated herself from her new family already.  We’ll give her this: she is very efficient at causing trouble.  What an excellent characteristic to have.
