RHOA: Where do Kandi Burruss & NeNe Leakes stand these days?

Kandi Burruss and NeNe Leakes had a falling out during season 12 and it seems that drama has carried over into season 13, if NeNe even comes back.

Kandi Burruss and NeNe Leakes did not have a good friendship at the end of The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s most recent season.  Kandi was on Quibi’s Close Up by E! News to discuss her current standing with NeNe.  If you recall, the issues with Kandi were the reason NeNe “walked off” the reunion set by closing her computer.

Kandi spilled that since things were so heated after the reunion, they still have not really spoken to one another.  Of course, NeNe has been busy tweeting vague things about Bravo and her cast-mates in general, but now she has confirmed she is not returning to RHOA next season.

If anything, NeNe should be thankful she had drama with someone because it gave her more of a reason to film.  We know now that NeNe made up the recording drama with Cynthia Bailey in order to have a reason to film with the other ladies, but Yovanna Momplaisir said there was never a recording.  NeNe asked Yovanna to record her conversations but she didn’t want to get involved in some potentially illegal drama for Nene.

Kandi did say she saw NeNe at a restaurant at one point, but she had a mask on and her hair was newly braided, so there was no acknowledgment from either woman.  Knowing NeNe, she saw Kandi and just didn’t say hi.  Shady, shady, shady!

Drew Sidora and Latoya Ali have been spotted filming for the show, but there have been no sightings of NeNe filming with the group now that she is done.  A group photo of the ladies filming at an event showed Kenya Moore, Cynthia, Yovanna, and Kandi but the rest remains a mystery!

The Real Housewives of Atlanta will be back on Bravo later this year.
