Summer House is returning for season 5 but the cast will be living together for 24/7 this time around, leaving plenty of room for extra drama!

The upcoming season of Summer House will be unlike any other according to Josh Brown, Bravo’s Vice President of Current Production.  On The Daily Dish podcast, Josh spoke with Megan Segura and Erik J. Mac to discuss what exactly was changing about the show.  This season seems more Big Brother-esuqe, if you will, as the cast will be staying together full time at the house and not commuting back to New York City for work.

It seems that Hannah Berner, Paige DeSorbo, Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, Lindsay Hubbard, and Carl Radke are back for season 5.  Danielle Olivera is possibly joining, but it doesn’t appear Jules Daoud is back based on her recent Instagram posts elsewhere.

Josh said that it was normal for people in their age bracket to have roommates so now they all get to be roommates for the summer.   “They are coming to the house to all live together, and to quarantine together safely.”  Since New York City has been shut down since March due to the pandemic, many of the residents gave up their apartments and headed to greener pastures with more room.

We don’t know if the group is staying home 24/7 or if they are venturing out to eat occasionally, but it should be interesting to see how everyone responds to spending such a lengthly period of time together.

Carl revealed that he stopped drinking at some point over the summer and then in early September, he posted on Instagram that his brother passed away.  Hopefully being around his friends at the house had a positive impact on Carl.  You can do it, Carl!

This could be the most interesting season of Summer House yet if it all goes to plan!  The cast is definitely in the house together filming right now so hopefully by the end of the year we have more news about a premier date.  Cheers to that!

Bravo, Bravo…fascinating Bravo!
