The Real Housewives of New York are walking on eggshells to keep Dorinda Medley happy, but the happy moments are being outweighed now.

The Real Housewives of New York City are doing their best to appease Dorinda Medley through a variety of arguments, but it seems to be getting harder to avoid the anger.  In a dynamic group like this, it can be hard to combine all of the big personalities into one cohesive crew.  This is always more evident during cast trips much like the Mexico one we are currently watching.

Things seem to be going swimmingly and then boom!  Dorinda hears one word incorrectly and went off like a bomb.  It doesn’t matter who said it or when they said it, she will bulldoze them until her point is made.  Unfortunately, no one else even cares that she is making a point.  She’s just so off the rails that everyone is trying to get out of her path.

In Mexico, Dorinda was fine one moment and going to Luann de Lesseps’ jugular then next.  Luann was simply repeating something Ramona Singer said.  Then at breakfast, she flipped out that Leah McSweeney and Sonja Morgan were working at the table even though they were there before she sat down.  But when her daughter called during lunch, it was incredibly rude of Ramona to remind Dorinda that she didn’t need to be on the phone at the table.

One minute comment turns on this switch for Dorinda that turns her from nice to cruel.  Ramona said that Dorinda used to snap and flip out for a minute, but now she snaps and flips out for 20 minutes.  And the snap tends to be worse these days.  “I miss the light Dorinda who makes a little few jokes…a little few jabs.”

It has become expected that Dorinda is going to derail the entire dinner or event with her antics.  It always starts out fun but you can tell the rest of the ladies are just waiting for the other angry shoe to drop, and it always does.  When Ramona called our Dorinda for having some deep-seated sadness, she hit the nail on the head.

The flooding of Blue Stone Manor seems to have shaken something inside Dorinda that she can no longer avoid, and neither can any of her castmates.

Next week, Dorinda tells Ramona that she can be jealous of her.  “You can have my life,” she told her in the middle of an argument.  It looks like things are going to continue to get worse for Dorinda before they get better.  If they get better.

The Real Housewives of New York is on Thursdays at 9 PM ET!
