The Real Housewives of Potomac: Is Candiace Dillard just totally unlikeable?

The Real Housewives of Potomac are wasting no time getting into the drama that unfolded in the first weeks of filming.  Buckle up, viewers!

The Real Housewives of Potomac have jumped right back into the drama after a. hiatus, and of course, Candiace Dillard Bassett is at the center of it all.  We know that some stuff goes down with her and Monique Samuels later in the season, but it is clear from the start that they still don’t care for one another.

No matter your personal opinions on Candiace, she just gives off negative vibes.  She acts like a brat, certainly looks down on people, and her presence on Twitter is nothing but angry.  For someone with such a well-educated mother,  Candiace screams ignorance.  She even called Ashley Darby a “roach” and accused her of sleeping her way to financial stability.  Just gross.

Now Candiace has been inviting former cast member, Charrisse Jackson Jordan, to events just to mess with Monique Samuels, and Monique sees right through it.  Also, Candiace threw the first filmed event of the season which was an anniversary party with a cash bar.

If nothing else, that is a misguided use of funds.  Who celebrates their one year anniversary with a group of people you don’t even like?  Don’t even get us started on the denim and diamonds theme.  Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears would like a word.

So, even though Candiace is pretending she is cool with Monique, it is clear she wants to make her look like a fool.  It appears that she wanted her storyline this season to be about getting pregnant, but instead, it is going to be about her physical altercation with Monique.  Try as she might, she can’t even pretend to get her life together for a show.

At dinner, Gizelle Bryant tried to get Candiace to apologize to Ashley Darby and Candiace gave her pageant queen answer.  She pushed off the request instead of just offering up an apology, she said she wouldn’t engage while Ashley had an audience.  What exactly does Candiace consider her Twitter followers?

For someone who lives off of her mother and has nothing of her own, Candiace sure has a lot of opinions on everyone else’s lives.
