The ladies of RHOP are back, but what are they all up to in their love lives?

Ashley Darby

After speaking about Candiace, it seems only right to go next to the person who seems as though she will forever be her mortal enemy in Ashley Darby. Ashley is a fresh new mom in the new season, opening up about her new journey as a mother in episode one.

The thing that most stuck out to me though is the fact that she says that she and her husband, Michael Darby, have since grown closer since the baby arrived. It will be interesting to see if that is truly the case because it could be well, just organically a case of them growing stronger due to them sharing this newborn blessing with one another, or something else entirely.

It could also be that she’s just paying so much attention to her new little bundle of joy that she doesn’t have the time or mental acuity to pay any attention to their issues, if any still exist, of course. That is something we will keep an eye on, but for now, all seems well in the Darby District.

Monique Samuels

Monique Samuels and former NFL baller husband, Chris Samuels, always seem as though they are in a good place. Since joining The Real Housewives of Potomac, the biggest issue that I can remember between them exclusively revolves around Chris’s mother and her comments, but as we have since learned, Chris stood up for Monique to his mother and they all have sense remedied the scenario.

Again, nothing relationship related in relation to Monique, but there is something of note from her in episode one. Ashley said it best in her own words in this tweet from her official account.

Samuels says that she started training her newest child at four months and while I don’t know a ton about the process, you usually don’t start until much later than that, typically at least six times as old as her child was. It seems like quite the accomplishment. That is about as climatic as you get when it comes to Monique and her relationship though.

Robyn Dixon

Robyn and Juan Dixon are a paradox. Not to the show and not even just the group, but to life.

They are a couple that has been married, separated, divorced, and are now seemingly on the cusp of getting married again… at least that’s what it looks like things may be headed towards. That has been a thing with them for at least the last three seasons now though when including this one.

Will Juan and Robyn ever re-tie the knot in matrimony? From personal experience and survey, some perspectives seem to see this as a way for Juan to kick the can down the road, not having intentions to re-marry with Robyn anytime soon while some see him as coming off completely authentic.

That is their entire storyline right now but moving forward though, decisions… decisions. For what it’s worth, the whole dramatic questioning scene between the two in the first episode seemed like a staged fiasco by production. Sue me.
