RHONY: Sonja Morgan debuts her new $75,000 facelift by Dr. Jacono

Sonja Morgan has been busy since season 12 of RHONY finished filming, and she has a brand new look to show for it thanks to Dr. Jacono.

Sonja Morgan is fresh as a daisy!  After wrapping season 12 of The Real Housewives of New York, Sonja decided to freshen up her look with a $75,00 facelift.  Instead of hiding the fact that she went under the knife, Sonja is proudly showing off her new look.  Her doctor, Andrew Jacono, MD, FACS, works at New York Center for Facial Plastic Surgery, and describes himself as a “World Leading Expert in Facial Plastic Surgery, Innovator, and Philanthropist.”

Sonja said she wanted to get ahead of the rumors and took to her Instagram to explain the procedure.  She said that gravity had “taken its toll” and she needed a pick-me-up, which she trusted to Dr. Jacono.

Sonja went into detail about the deep plane procedure that goes underneath the muscle and doesn’t disrupt the skin as much.  She also mentioned that it heals faster due to this method, and we agree!  It looks great.

Another fun fact about Dr. Jacono is that he did the facelift of Paul Nassif from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, too!  Sonja has been looking great in her Instagram stories, so it looks like everything has healed up nicely.

It is always interesting to see how different regions have different kinds of plastic surgery.  In Beverly Hills, the trend seems to be extreme.  It almost presents like a status symbol to show off your plastic surgery, but it often ends up looking obvious and overdone.  In New York, the aesthetic is “less is more,” and a more natural look.  Sonja achieved that with this procedure.  But don’t even get us started on Orange County surgeons.

Is Ramona Singer mad that Sonja didn’t attribute her new look to Ageless by Ramona skincare?  Probably, but Sonja with a sexy J isn’t hiding behind any random Amazon skincare creams these days – she supports plastic surgeons!
