Kenya Moore’s marriage was front and center this season on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and Marc Daly didn’t love the attention.

Kenya Moore and her marriage to Marc Daly was a wild ride from day one.  When she got married in 2017, she was not a housewife at the time.  So when she was brought back to The Real Housewives of Atlanta, she had a lot of the story to tell.  Unfortunately for Kenya, the story wasn’t a good one by the time the cameras came around.

In a special behind the scenes version of Season 12, Episode 16, it was noted by producers that Kenya “never tried to put a positive spin on her marriage.”  She seemed aware of how Marc, and their marriage, would look on camera from the start.  Kenya said to Cynthia Bailey that Marc apologized to her once over the course of three years.  Production also mentioned that the relationship was on shaky ground at the start of the season, but got progressively worse as filming went on.

At an event that Marc was a part of, it was pretty clear how he felt about the show and Kenya. When asked about his marriage, he said, “I hate it.  Everyone knows I hate it.”  Shortly after, he told production they needed to wrap up and leave the event.

He was caught saying that it would be the last time production saw him.  Just after the event, Kenya and Marc announced their separation.

During the reunion, Kenya said that she and Marc were trying to work on things.  She actually said he had made a “360-degree turn,” which would mean he hasn’t changed at all, but we think she meant 180-degree turn.  Kenya spent much of the season shading her close friends and generally being a bad friend to people.  Perhaps the show just wasn’t right for Kenya at the time, or perhaps her marriage wasn’t right for Kenya at the time.

Though Kenya said she and Marc are working on things, it isn’t clear where their marriage will end up.  “I don’t wanna be single.  I want the fairytale like I had.”  Though production noted that the couple didn’t argue in front of the cameras (which we disagree with), they also said it was clear the couple just “didn’t get along.”

What’s next for the couple?  Only time will tell.  But if Marc doesn’t do some serious attitude changing (and perhaps Kenya, too), it doesn’t look good for the couple.  Who will buy his Gucci ties then?

The Real Housewives of Atlanta will be back on Bravo later this year.
