Aviva Drescher is rumored to have been accused of asking Bobby Berk to work for free, in addition to taking items from his story without payment.

Aviva Drescher, the former Real Housewives of New York cast member who once tossed her prosthetic leg on the table for dramatic effect, has apparently been called out by interior designer Bobby Berk of Queer Eye.  Though Bobby did not name her specifically, a source confirmed that it was Aviva he was speaking about, and a 2014 tweet re-surfaced where he called her and her husband con-artists.  If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it might be a duck.

Bobby recently gave an interview on The Jenny McCarthy Show where he called out a certain housewife for trying to “bully” him into designing their home without pay, according to Us Weekly.  She said that being on the show would be payment enough for his work and that he would gain exposure from the job.

According to Brick Underground, when Aviva tried to get clearance to film in her home, she was denied.  Instead, she opted to rent a $20,000 a month townhome to film in.  This is, presumably, the home she tried to have Bobby decorate for free.

Bobby said that sometimes designing for celebrities can be “a pain in the ass.”  He went on to say that one time a certain housewife came into his store and said that she could have anything she wanted for free, courtesy of Bobby.  When confronted over the issue, the star said that it would be good television for him to take them to court over the missing items.  She and her husband apparently never paid.

In another interesting twist, Dorinda Medley was on the Chanel In The City podcast when she was asked about the incident.  Dorinda said, “What’s the point?”  Dorinda said that she didn’t do riddles and thought it was silly Bobby did not just come out and say that it was, in fact, Aviva who he was referring to.  Dorinda said, “Say who it is or don’t say it at all.”

Unfortunately for Aviva, it seemed pretty clear who he was talking about from the start.  If there is anyone on RHONY that is a con-artist, it’s probably Aviva and her husband.

The Real Housewives of New York is on Thursdays at 9 PM ET!
