Real Housewives of Potomac season 5 spoilers: What to expect

The Real Housewives of Potomac season 5 is upon us and it looks like the ladies are all having some interesting relationship issues this time around.

We’ve watched Robyn Dixon, Gizelle Bryant, and Karen Huger navigate relationships during their time on the show, but it looks like for The Real Housewives of Potomac season 5 we might be seeing a lot more drama for the couples.

Robyn Dixon & Juan Dixon

When Robyn first joined the cast, she and Juan Dixon were separated but living together with their children.  We’ve seen them fall apart, and fall back together during season four.  But back in December 2019, Juan and Robyn got engaged again!  They were first engaged back in 2005, married, and separated in 2012.  In the preview for this season, Juan can be seen saying to a therapist, “Don’t act like our marriage was awesome.”  Following that, Juan and Gizelle appeared to meet up to discuss the situation.  It isn’t clear when exactly the meeting happened in relation to the engagement – but it doesn’t look good.

Gizelle Bryant & Jamal Bryant

Now Gizelle has her own issues when it comes to her relationship with Jamal Bryant.  Gizelle and Jamal were seen together off and on during filming and it appeared the couple was back together.  Gizelle confirmed they were back at the season 4 reunion.  While that might be true, their children don’t seem very on board with the idea.  Jamal and Gizelle share three children together, Adore Bryant, Grace Bryant, and Angel Bryant.  Jamal also has a four-year-old son named John Karston Bryant and a 22-year-old daughter named Topaz Bryant.

Back in May, it was rumored that Jamal had fathered another child with someone in his congregation.  Andy Cohen even asked Gizelle about it on Watch What Happens Live, where she obviously denied the allegations.  Jamal also discussed the rumors live on his YouTube channel and denied them.  Jamal called the allegations “baseless” and said  that he had not “fathered a baby in April, May, February, January — here in Atlanta.”  It does appear the couple is still together as of right now and no more babies have been discovered.

Karen Huger & Ray Huger

Karen asked, “Are you in love with me?”  Which was met with, “Over time things change,” by Ray.  Karen can be seen telling the rest of the ladies that she should have left “in a heartbeat,” though we don’t know what she’s referring to.  Karen and Ray have had their fair share of issues on the show, mostly related to their finances.

Is season five the time for all of these relationships to have their time in the spotlight?  It looks like it might…Someone call a press conference!
