RHOA: Eva Marcille is done with the show

Eva Marcille announced this morning that she was leaving The Real Housewives of Atlanta after three seasons on the hit show.

Eva Marcille was on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show this morning and announced her departure from The Real Housewives of Atlanta.  Eva will remain on the morning show for now as she works there, but won’t be joining the Atlanta ladies for another season.  Eva didn’t have much of a storyline besides being pregnant, which seemed stressful and not very entertaining.  She was on the show as a full-time housewife for two seasons and a friend of for one.

Eva spoke to The Jasmine Brand and said she was thankful for the friendships she made, “However, after speaking with my family and representatives, I believe that what I hope to accomplish for the culture and community will be better served by focusing on other opportunities.”

This is interesting enough, but that also means that more RHOA news is on the way.  If Eva decided not to leave, we can expect to get more news in the coming days.  The big questions revolve around Nene Leakes and her possible return to the show.  Based on her behavior during the reunion when she just closed her computer and walked away, there’s a good chance Nene is not asked back.

On top of the drama with Nene leaving the reunion, she was also caught red-handed after Yovanna Momplaisir sold her out about the recordings.  Yovanna came to the reunion to say that Nene told her to record their friends talking about her, but she was uncomfortable with it.

Nene was also going around demanding that she get a raise because she felt she was important to the show, but she might be the only one who thinks that.   Many viewers think it is Nene’s time to go as she does not bring anything positive to the group anymore.

It should be another interesting week in the Bravo-universe.  Who do you think will be asked back for the next season of RHOA?
