It was the end of an era for RHONY’s Tinsley Mortimer as she packed up her hotel room and headed for Chicago to start a new chapter.

Last night we saw the last of Tinsley Mortimer’s last appearances on The Real Housewives of New York.  She came, she saw, she found her fairytale ending and now she’s out.  It was highly speculated during filming that Tinsley was done once she got engaged to Scott Kluth in Chicago, but we saw it confirmed in the most recent episode.

All Tinsley wanted during her time on RHONY was to find her happily ever after, and she did that, despite Dorinda Medley’s harassment.  Tinsley and Scott were introduced by her former castmate, Carole Radziwill, during an episode back in 2017.  In her time on the show, she went on a few dates but always came back to Scott.

If you’ve been watching, you would have seen Dorinda literally harassing Tinsley about her relationship with Scott for some reason. As Dorinda’s own relationship came to an end, her interest in Tinsley’s love life went from odd to psychotic. She’s even been making comments about Tinsley’s fertility recently.

Normally when a cast member leaves mid-season, it can be ugly.  You can tell that Tinsley was kind to the production crew off-camera based on her send-off.  Sure, she bailed early, but she got a nice going away montage to send her off.  Tinsley confirmed the news in her Instagram post where the thanked Shed Media, Bravo, and Andy Cohen for all of their work.

While making her announcement at dinner, Dorinda kept saying she could check out of her hotel finally and continued to throw shade at Tinsley for no reason. In one of her final moments with her, Dorinda was nothing but rude. If I were Tinsley, I would run (not walk) away from Dorinda and her misery.

Tinsley and Scott are happily living in Chicago and have been since they got engaged at the end of 2019.  “Life isn’t a fairytale, but I’m hoping mine’s the exception.”  You got it, girl.

The Real Housewives of New York is on Thursdays at 9 PM ET!
