Real Housewives of Atlanta: Kenya Moore can dish it out but she can’t take it
By Amanda Cline
The Real Housewives of Atlanta gathered virtually to hash out all of their issues, including Kenya Moore’s inability to take the shade she throws at others.
At the start of the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion part two, Andy Cohen asked Porsha Williams for the receipts that Kenya Moore was coming for Cynthia Bailey. Kenya apparently said Cynthia’s day was going to come, but Cynthia didn’t even seem bothered by the news. She said they are all friends, though it is dysfunctional and she recognizes that. Nene Leakes also said that she and Cynthia were in a good place, too, after NeNe’s apology tour.
There was some drama between the competing hair lines, Porsha’s Go Naked Hair and Kenya Moore Haircare both on the show and at the reunion. The ladies accused Kenya of wearing a weave when she says that she doesn’t and attributes her hair to her hair line.
And then Kandi Burruss and Nene had their moment to discuss their issues – and it didn’t go well. The drama was over Kandi getting a spin-off for Old Lady Gang when Nene thought she was interesting enough to warrant her own show. She isn’t. Nene said that Kandi was “unforgettable” and then changed it to “forgettable.” But the best part is that when NeNe storms “off-stage” by shutting her laptop, you can see her reads written down for when she needs them.
She called Kandi the wrong insult even though she had it written down! Nene told Kandi to go lick bottoms in LA and then Kandi said that she was “embedded” in Nene’s brain. Which, is pretty true, as she seems obsessed with Kandi at this point.
The ladies all agreed that Kenya can dish out all the shade possible, but she can never handle it when she gets shaded back. Kenya called her shade “fun shade” but the rest of the girls agreed that there was nothing funny about any of it.
Kenya also agreed that going after someone’s business is inappropriate, but then they showed some flashbacks of her going after people’s businesses. Andy asked, “So you can [mess] with other people’s businesses, but they can’t [mess] with yours?” It was nice seeing Kenya getting called out for her shady dealings because she usually gets away with it.
The highlight of Andy’s night was certainly being able to use the mute button when the ladies got out of hand. Overall, the night was full of Nene being delusional and Kenya being hypocritical. So basically, the season in a nutshell.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion part three airs May 24 on Bravo!
